PC Racing Plastic Renew – Product Directions:
Dirtbike plastic scratches are removed with a course, wet sandpaper.
Then the plastic needs to be sanded smooth with a lighter grit sandpaper.
Apply Plastic Renew in slow, even strokes. Once you have applied the first coat, wait about five minutes before putting on a second coat.
For a finish that is smooth to the touch, buff the plastic with fine steel wool.
Re-apply Plastic Renew. Four or more coats will ensure maximum glass and durability.
Note: If you don’t want to spend a lot of time sanding, you can sand with just the fine paper. This will leave some deeper scratches, but the overall appearance of the plastic will be very good and you can get back to riding.
Independent Review Verdict: 4.5 out of 5 stars
An effective product that is very satisfying to use. This stuff made my old 96 rm250 look brand new! easy to use and works great. would buy again.
The only way to get “new” looking plastics is to buy new plastics. But to just get a few more years out of your old one, this definitely does the job. Very noticable difference. I liked it enough I bought some more to do another quad.
